The Mole Hole opens for business on Monday of Week 2 in Winter and Spring terms, and the middle of Week 1 for Fall term. The Mole Hole will close for the term after the last general chemistry final is given during Finals week.
The Mole Hole is not open in the summer.
General chemistry hours
The Mole Hole is open in the Valley Library, 3rd floor:
- Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Closed on Saturdays
- Sunday, 3 to 10 p.m.
During the hours listed above, you can get help with general chemistry lecture questions regardless of which general chemistry course you are taking. Any TA or Peer Tutor can help you. However, if you have a lab-specific question it is better to go to the Mole Hole when a TA from your general chemistry sequence is working. TAs from different sequences may not be familiar with how the lab is run in the other sequences.
Organic and physical chemistry hours
For Organic (CH 331, 332, 337, 334, 335 and 336) and Physical (CH 440, 441 and 442) chemistry, please see your course Canvas site for the days and times there will be TAs in the Mole Hole to help with these courses.
