Established in 2024, the purpose of this fund is “to support students and staff involved in the integrated lab program. Funds can be used to provide an award to one undergraduate per term, an award for one graduate student serving as a teaching assistant each academic year, an award for one instructor or faculty member teaching the integrated lab courses each academic year, and for end of term celebrations for each of these groups." The head of the Chemistry Department will have discretion over how these awards are made.

The Staff Service Award is presented to a staff member who continually goes above and beyond the call of duty in performing their job. Their hard work and dedication to the department are part of what makes the chemistry department such a unique place to work.
