For the Washington schools shown below, the courses in general chemistry articulate as CH LDT or, in some cases, as CH 221, 222, & 223 (from Fall 2012 as CH 231 - 233 lectures and CH 261 - 263 labs). If the articulation is for CH 231/261-233/263 (previously CH 221-223) the transfer sequence is considered to fulfill the requirements at OSU for one year of general chemistry. In some cases, a sequence that articulates only as LDT credits still fulfills the requirements at OSU for one year of general chemistry (CH 121-123 or CH 231/261-233/263, previously CH 221-223) as shown in the tables below. Note that Washington community colleges changed the course numbering system in 2008 and the tables are in terms of the current numbers.

For Washington community colleges the acceptable sequence is usually either CHEM 161-163 or CHEM 171-173 (sometimes with separate labs to take) or CHEM 141-143 with corresponding labs. Chemistry courses not acceptable as replacements or prerequisites for OSU general chemistry courses include 1, 50, 100, 101, 102, 105, 110, 111, 112, 120, 121, 122, 123, 139, 140.
