CHM 231 & 235 are the lecture and lab for a one-semester, survey organic chemistry and cannot serve as a substitute for OSU courses. Transfer students to OSU who need CH 331-332 should take CHM 233 & 234. CHM 237 & 238 will fulfill the requirements of an organic chemistry laboratory for students who are required to take 337 and for an "upper division" lab course for the chemistry minor. Chemistry majors should take CHM 333 & 334 to fulfill the requirements for CH 334-336 at OSU. CHM 337 & 338 will fulfill the requirement at OSU for CH 361.

The combination of CHM 325 & 326 fulfills the requirements for an "upper division lab course" in analytical chemistry and for the purposes of the chemistry minor and serves as a replacement for students in majors that require CH 324 at OSU. The combination of CHM 345 & 346 fulfill the requirements for one year of physical chemistry (CH 440-442) for chemistry majors. For the chemistry minor, all the above 300- or 400-level courses can be used except CHM 435, 460, 471, 480, 481, 483 and 485.

The combination of CHEM 322 and 323 fulfills the requirements for an "upper division lab course" in analytical chemistry for the purposes of the chemistry minor. It also serves as a replacement for students in majors that require CH 324 at OSU. The combination of CHM 480 A & B fulfills the requirements for one year of physical chemistry (CH 440-442) for chemistry majors. For the chemistry minor, all the above 300- or 400-level courses can be used except CHEM 302A & 405.
