Methods
Daily temperature readings are recorded once a day as reported highs and lows
from weather.com. These readings are taken just before sunrise and at the end of the day
locally.
Values are compared against historical average highs and lows as compiled at
weather.com. Temperature anomaly is calculated as [(current high - average
high) + (current low - average low)]/2. Daily values are continuously
averaged within each month and displayed graphically.
