OSU offers scholarships for entering freshmen and transfer
students to
recognize students' academic achievement, while promoting the diversity
necessary to achieve the University's educational goals. These include
the Presidential Scholarship, Provost Scholarship, and the Diversity
Achievement Scholarship.
A scholarship application form is a component of the
Application for Undergraduate Admission. The Chemistry Department
or College of Science does not accept applications or directly award
scholarships to new students.
Information about general OSU scholarships and financial aid can
be found at the Financial
Aid and Scholarships Office Webpage.
Oregon High School seniors may also independently apply for Oregon AeA
Technology Scholarships. These premier
scholarship-internship-mentorship packages are awarded to Oregon high
school graduates entering engineering or computer science related
programs. This definition includes chemistry majors.
Each award includes: 1) $2,500 per year scholarship, 2) annual
renewal through 4 years, 3) corporate mentorship, and 4) summer
internships available. Our chemistry options in materials
science and chemical
engineering are oriented toward technology.
The Oregon Student Assistance Commission has a variety of scholarship programs available for high school seniors, undergraduate students, and graduate students.
Continuing CHEMISTRY students
