Research Interests:
My laboratory is principally interested in target-based drug discovery with a focus on (1) identification of genetically encoded, biologically active natural products from microbial sources, (2) developing new screening techniques for small molecules and proteins that inhibit viral cell entry, and (3) using integrated approaches to elucidate the molecular basis of inhibitor interactions with target viral proteins by means of biophysical and structural studies.
